This illustrates the rare Diamond octahedron crystal suspended within a mother octahedron, sometimes referred to as a ‘Ghost Crystal’.
This beautiful specimen, almost like a spinning top, shows a multi crystal formation in a rough diamond.
This example shows a near perfect series of graduating pentagonal structures on the face of a rough crystal.
This photograph shows a rough diamond crystal in one of its most common forms, the classic octahedron.
Although these twinned rough diamond crystals are of no gem value, they show a beautiful example of the cube shaped rough.
